Ban Topa! Artists Meetup Aruba
A meetup for artists from/related to Aruba practicing painting, illustration, etc.
We know some artists through Instagram but what about getting to know each other beyond Instagram's visual grids? 🤩
This meetup was our first gathering for bringing our small community of artists and drawing enthusiast together. Because of COVID-19 we could not meet in person, but this gave us the opportunity to connect with artists living abroad as well through a digital meetup.
Since not everyone can fluently follow Papiamento, we decided to continue in English. Together we shared experiences, advice, and gave each other support — all the while doodling/sketching. By using the topic ✨STREA✨ as a theme for the doodling part, we showcased our work at the end of the meetup.
All in all, it was a successful event that was very much needed! A big thank you to everyone that participated.
